Clinical Information

• A type of familial lipid metabolism disorder characterized by a variable pattern of elevated plasma cholesterol and/or triglycerides. Multiple genes on different chromosomes may be involved, such as the major late transcription factor upstream stimulatory factors) on chromosome 1.
